2009 went out with a blast. in December we raised over $3,500 through three separate fund-raisers! But most importantly our Oncology Massage Program has begun helping those living with cancer in the Rochester, NY area gain access to oncology trained massage therapists for free or low cost. Were you at Heartstrings?

Well, about 200 people were. “Three bands, one night, all heart” was the byline. It was that and so much more! Lovin’ Cup located by RIT held the benefit concert that raised more than $2,500 between ticket sales, 50/50 raffle and an auction on December 19th 2009. Teagan and the Tweeds, Meg Gehman and the Violet Mary’s lent their talents to entertain our guests. The warm up duet, Loveful Heights, harmonized in an amazing fashion leaving us mesmerized! Many thanks to all involved for making it a fun night of enjoying good food, beer, wine, music and friends.
